Some of the contributors have given more than one eponym but we decided to keep the most widely known such as "Babinski's reflex/sign ", the plantar reflex, which occurs in infants when the sole of the foot is firmly stroked.
Due to lack of space and because this paper does not deal with eponyms exclusively, we selected the most prominent French contributors.
